Amanda Bossard net worth
In 1992, Amanda Bossard began her studies in marine biology in Anchorage at Alaska Pacific University. Bossard got her start in the commercial seafood industry in the year 1999. In that year she worked in Murat Aritan's halibut 65 feet vessel, later converted into a fish tender. Bossard is married to Aritan. The couple has joined forces and are claiming their respective fields. They both believe in conserving as well as profiting from natural resources that are used in the seafood industry. Otolith is an independent wholesale distributor of seafood that was started by a woman in Philadelphia in 2007 by a woman who is now the mother of two children, Bella aged 3, and Andre age 1. She and her husband are separated by five months, and more for her to be focused on her finances as well as environmental concerns. Bossard and their son Andre and daughter Isabella will return home to Southeast Alaska every summer as deckhands during the salmon season. They use hooks and line to capture their salmon and then join Aritan for local processors for two months. Then they continue to expand their direct seafood product sales via Otolith Sustainable Seafood.
